Emirates Nutrition Association
Founded in 2018 by the Ministry of Community Development (Decree #296), the Emirates Nutrition Association (ENA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing nutrition and health across the UAE. Our diverse membership includes nutritionists, dietitians, allied health professionals, scientists, and students, all committed to promoting better health through nutrition science, education, and community engagement.

Prof. Ayesha Al Dhaheri
Is a Clinical Nutrition professor at UAEU and Advisor to the Vice Chancellor. She has led major academic reforms, built regional nutrition capacity as WHO Collaborating Centre Head, and published 135+ papers (h-index 28). She currently serves as President of the Emirates Nutrition Association and supports FAO-led food composition initiatives.

Ms. Nada Zuhair Aladeeb
is an academically specialized food science and nutrition. Director of Nutrition at SEHA, 1994 – 2022, ENA Secretary-General and a member of the Supreme Committee for Consumer Protection- MET.
A nutritional media personality and numerous awards-winning including the Leading Community Initiative Award from the Sh. Fatima bint Mubarak.
She has internationally published scientific researches
and pioneering nutritional initiatives.
She was the first Emirati to publish “A Nutritional Overview”book and “The Nutritional Value of Dates.

Dr. Youssef Saeed Al Saadi
Is the first Emirati Certified Food Scientist, holding a PhD
in Food Science from Kansas State University. He is a Standardization
Affairs Consultant at MoIAT, with nearly 30 years’ experience in food
science, safety, security, standards, and conformity, focusing on rapid
methods and automation.
